Reflective Galleries

I associate art museums and photo galleries as places to go to reflect on oneself. This past week, I had the opportunity to present my year's work alongside fellow ISM 1 students at our annual Gallery Walk. Creating a culmination of my work on a posterboard intrinsically caused me to reflect and set 3 new goals for this semester.
First, I plan to keep in touch with all of my contacts. Considering the number of people I have connected with over the course of 18 months, I am underwhelmed by my current connections with them. Being so, I hope to mail and update them over the course of the next several months.
Second, I will finalize my projects. While I intended on tying many knots on prior plans, I still have yet to do so. Being said, I will block out weekly time dedicated towards finalization processes.
Thirdly, and most importantly, I will find myself a mentor who I can work with as I develop a final product.
Being able to showcase my work thus far into the year gave me the chance to reevaluate previous goals but more so to plan what I want to do with the rest of year, a much needed reflection. With that in mind, I am astoundingly ecstatic for our upcoming Research Showcase and all the things I plan to accomplish before then.
