Ah! Another day of "Original Work"ing. Here's my latest update on the project.
I selected a blueprint for the fixed-wing airplane I plan to model on Fusion 360. I was originally planning to sketch an airplane and use Assessment #10's equations to calculate a design but I realized that might be slightly ambitious considering the timeframe of 15 days to complete this project. Though disheartened, I found a blueprint that has the top, side, and front views along with its measurements.
Now prepared with the sketches, I found a YouTube tutorial to walk me through the steps of online modeling on CAD software. Though I have used the platform previously for the Radicubs Robotics team, I hadn't quite delved into how much depth I'm going in right now as I design this plane. It definitely helped to have exposure to this software as it allowed me to be more comfortable with the pace of the tutorial.
I got through 2 of the 10 videos and when I counted it up, it should be 5 hours total creating this model. I got through one of those 5 today so if I keep on track with one tutorial a day, I should be complete with the model by the end of the week.
Let's see if this model flips me fusion360 degrees!
